The 1998 Jeep Cherokee with the replacement tranny has a couple of issues. First, it still has the exact same loud hard "thunk" that I brought it in for when shifting from Park into reverse. Second, the exhaust system is MUCH louder now, suggesting that the header may have been cracked or some other exhaust system component is now cracked or not reassembled tightly. The sound is so loud that it's quite difficult to carry on a conversation while driving without nearly shouting.
You have our attention Doren. As you know from your years of dealing with us here, there is no intent to do poor work nor will we back away from our covered warranty on labor and parts. Give us a chance to stand behind our work .... and we will. Allow us to apologize for anything that we may have missed or overlooked...if this is the situation. If there is a part failure that we installed, we have no problem standing behind that as well. We will call you for an opportunity to bring it back and let us see what the problem is. Thank you for being our customer Doren.
